Milestones in the history of Captor Group
2004 Launch of Efficient 4.2 with key modules such as Efficient Kiosk and Efficient People and a new range of access readers, extending Captor's offering in the Workforce Management space. Cipio Partners joining Captor as new investor.
2003 CAPTOR positions Efficient 4.1 as a full suite for managing people and time in professional environment with facilities of integration with CISCO IP-Phones and the new OMNI terminal series capable of biometric recognition.
2002 Release of Efficient 4.0, a full web based solution based on the latest technologies such as ASP, DHTML, XML, etc., enabling a zero footprint client running under MS Internet Explorer.
2001 Fully in line with its strategy to focus on becoming a pure software solution provider, CAPTOR outsources its hardware production division.
2000 CAPTOR opens a UK office by acquiring Moore Time Systems. Prime-Time is launched in Europe as Efficient 3.0 CAPTOR positions its solution within the triangle of 3 other complementary applications, i.e. Payroll, Human Resources and E.R.P./Planning.
1999 Three new investment partners support the company namely IT-Partners, GIMV & FLV Fund joining Alcopa and the management.
1998-1999 Development of the OMNI terminal line and access readers as well as Prime-Time, a new 32-bit client-server software application.
1997 Acquisition of Lambert-Alcyon in France and Jadrimex in the Netherlands both being major players in their local market for Time & Attendance.
1996-1997 CAPTOR develops WT, its first software for Time & Attendance and Access Control and starts selling Time & Attendance systems directly to end-users.
1992-1995 First models of intelligent terminals shift towards Time & Attendance hardware and sales channels are extended to VARs active in Time & Attendance.
1987-1991 Manufacturing of low cost terminals for high volume customers: distribution through Value-Added-Resellers (VARs) and Original-Equipment-Manufacturers (OEMs).
1987 Creation of CAPTOR, a company active in Factory Data Collection.
